How Does It Work?

Step 1: Book Your Session

To make the booking process simple for our clients, we offer online booking through the booking page on our website. When you book, you will be required to pay your session retainer fee to reserve your spot. This fee is for the session itself and does not include print or products. Prints and products are purchased separately at your reveal session. If you have any questions at all prior to booking, please contact me. I want to answer anything you want to know so that you feel you are booking your session with confidence.

Step 2: Your Boudoir Photo Shoot

Time for some fun! On the day of your session come to our studio, which is located a short drive from Phoenix, AZ. Myself and our hair and makeup team will be there waiting for you and will get to work as soon as you arrive. You have your hair done and makeup applied, and I’ll help you make any last-minute outfit selections. Once you are all ready, we’ll start taking your photos. This day is meant to be fun, so be sure you are ready to relax and enjoy yourself. I can’t wait for you to experience this. 

Step 3. Choose Your Images

About 2 weeks after your session we’ll meet again for your reveal session. We’ll go through each of your gorgeous photos, and you can select the ones you would like to purchase. You’ll also get to choose what luxury products you would like to purchase to display your images in. We’ll place your order, and about 2 weeks later any albums you ordered will arrive. If you are purchasing photos for a certain occasion, keep in mind that the entire process from session date to final delivery is about one month.

I don't look like a model. Do you work with everyday women?

Of course! In fact, everyday women are all I work with. Eady lady I photograph has her own insecurities about her body, and that’s totally normal. Whether you have concerns about your stomach or thighs or your smile or all of the above, I promise you you are not alone. We’ll get you feeling extra confident before your shoot with the help of our hair and makeup team, to lessen those concerns. Boudoir photography is truly incredible. The magic of this art has a way of showing you the beauty within yourself that you probably don’t notice in your everyday life. That’s why this is such a transformational experience. You are going to be blown away when you see your photos. What I love so much about boudoir photography is that it helps a woman erase her insecurities, and that lasts far beyond the studio.

I don't know how to pose. Will you guide me during my session?

I will guide you through anything and everything you need to know when it comes to posing, and beyond. I’ll show you the poses, so you are completely comfortable in what you are doing. We’ll cover every little detail from facial expressions to foot placement and everything in between. I promise posing is not something you need to worry about! Be sure to fuel yourself properly by eating a nutritious breakfast the day of your session - posing is a lot of fun but also a lot of work!

I'm a plus-size woman—should I lose some weight before my shoot?

You are beautiful just the way you are. I know that sounds cliche, but it’s true! All bodies are beautiful, no matter their type. I photograph women of all different shapes and sizes, and each one is just as gorgeous as any other. My posing skills will allow me to position you in ways that flatter your favorite features, and I bet we’ll even discover some new favorites. I will capture your authentic beauty in ways that you probably never imagined. Now is the time to take this opportunity for yourself - not next month, not next year. You are absolutely beautiful, no matter your shape or size.

What should I wear for my boudoir photo session?

Our studio does not provide lingerie, but we will help you choose pieces for your shoot. We have a lingerie style guide that we designed exclusively for our clients - you will receive this upon booking. This will help inspire your selections. We will also have a phone consultation with you prior to your shoot if you need some more guidance. I enjoy shooting all types of looks. Clients really let their personalities shine through their wardrobe, so I shoot anything from nudes to basics to extravagant pieces. Boudoir photography is not about the clothing you choose, but about your body and how the light shapes your body and reflects off of your skin. Your wardrobe is not something to stress over. We shoot around 3-5 outfits in a session, so you can choose a variety of options! If you have too many options, we’ll help you narrow it down when you arrive at your session. I know you’re going to look fabulous!

Will my photos be on your website? Can my photos be private?

We take our clients’ privacy very seriously and only share what we are given permission to share. We will request written permission from each client to share their images. If a client declines, their images will remain private. All images you see in our portfolio and on our social media accounts have been granted permission by that client for use. We love sharing our images, but will only share what you are comfortable with us sharing.

Where will my Boudoir session take place?

All boudoir sessions are held at our studio located a short drive from Phoenix, AZ. We have a convenient and accessible location to make it easy for our clients. All services, including hair and makeup, take place within our studio so you only need to travel to one location. We have a luxurious studio outfitted exclusively for boudoir photography. We have many different backdrops, sets, and lighting options that help to create the variety of sexy images you see in our portfolio. You are going to adore all of the sets we have! Our studio is a private space, so you can feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the duration of your session.

How long do boudoir sessions last? 

Our boudoir sessions last approximately 60-90 minutes. While most sessions fall within this timeframe, we do keep a loose timeline since we like to shoot until we have what we need. We want every client to get the shots they had in mind. Sessions are meant to be fun, so we focus more on making sure you have an enjoyable journey.

Will my images be retouched? 

Editing is included in our session packages. Our editing process includes Photoshop with a private female editor who smooths your skin, removes blemishes, and more. We will discuss the level of editing you are comfortable with. Our goal is to help you look like the best version of yourself. We will not make you look like someone you are not.

How do I justify investing in myself? 

The short answer? Because you deserve it. Investing in yourself on this level is not something you do every day, but it is something you will carry for a lifetime. An experience like this is transformational for all women, and is very supportive of those on journeys of self-love and acceptance. How can I prepare for my session? 

Aside from choosing a few outfits and eating a healthy breakfast, you really just need to show up. I don’t expect you to know how to pose and our makeup artist will get you all glammed up. Just come into the studio with an open mind, and I will take care of the rest.

Who will be present for my shoot? Can I bring a friend or significant other? 

Our studio is a completely private space. The only people who will be present during your shoot is you, myself, and our makeup artist. We want you to feel completely comfortable at your shoot. We do not allow clients to bring guests to their sessions due to the private nature of our studio. We thank you for your understanding.

Do you photograph men or couples’ boudoir?

Our studio is dedicated exclusively to women’s boudoir only.
