How Does It Work?

Step 1: Book Your Session

All sessions can be booked online right on my website, so when you’re ready to move forward, you can do so right here. You’ll pay your session retainer fee at the time of booking to secure your spot. This session retainer does not include products or prints, those are purchased at a later time when you have your reveal session. I’m here to answer any questions or talk to you about any concerns prior to booking, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to chat. I want you to book knowing you made the right choice.

Step 2: Your Boudoir Photo Shoot

On the day of your shoot, you’ll come to our studio located a short distance from Tucson AZ and the fun will begin! Our hair and makeup team will meet you onsite and start their magic, making you feel like an absolute goddess. We’ll review your wardrobe selections at this time, in case you still haven’t quite decided on exactly what you want to wear. Once you are all glammed up and ready, we will start capturing some photographs. It’s very important to me that you enjoy this experience - I am here to guide you through everything so that you can have a day both of fun and relaxation.

Step 3. Choose Your Images

I’ll see you again in the studio a couple of weeks after your session to show you your beautiful images for the first time. You’ll get to look at each image, select the ones you love the most, and make your purchasing decision. I offer a variety of luxury prints and products, so you will have many options for displaying your images. It takes about 2 weeks for albums to arrive once your purchase is complete. The timeline from your session date to delivery of your final products is about 1 month, so take that into consideration if planning this session for a certain occasion.

I don't look like a model. Do you work with everyday women?

We don’t work with models - we only work with everyday women, just like you. Each one has their own insecurities about their bodies, from their thighs to their bellies to their smile. They’re self-conscious about their stretch marks and their cellulite. If you can relate to this, you are just like every other woman I photograph. Our professional hair and makeup team will get you looking and feeling your very best for your shoot, to take the edge off of any of those worries. Boudoir photography can be so magical because it allows you to see yourself from a whole new angle - after your session you will find a new level of beauty in yourself that you may not have seen before. It really is a transformational and empowering experience. I know you’re going to look at your photos and your jaw is going to drop. Boudoir sessions help women release their insecurities for a lifetime. 

I don't know how to pose. Will you guide me during my session?

Not only will I guide you, I’ll show you! I’ll show you what facial expression to make, how to position your body, what direction to point your feet - you name it and I’ve got you covered. I want you to feel confident throughout this entire experience, even when it comes to posing. Posing is a lot of fun, but also a lot of work! Make sure to eat a nutritious breakfast prior to your shoot so you are properly fueled and ready to move.

I'm a plus-size woman—should I lose some weight before my shoot?

Absolutely not - all bodies are beautiful, regardless of their form. I photograph women of all different shapes and sizes, and each one is equally as beautiful. My experience in posing women allows me to focus on the parts of you that you love, but I will also show you some parts of you that you didn’t know you could love (trust me on this one!). I will capture you as your genuine self and beauty, in the same way I do for all of my clients. Take this opportunity to allow yourself once and for all to see the beauty within you that the rest of the world does. You are deserving of this experience, no matter the number on the scale or how your jeans fit. Come as you are and we will take care of the rest.

What should I wear for my boudoir photo session?

We have created a special lingerie style guide for our clients that will be sent to you upon booking to help inspire your wardrobe selections for your session. You will also have a phone consultation with me prior to your shoot where I can help you make some decisions on wardrobe if you’re still feeling stuck. Our studio does not provide a wardrobe for our clients. Nothing is off-limits - I enjoy shooting all types of wardrobe selections from basics to extravagant pieces, to nudes. Boudoir photography focuses more on the way the light molds your physique, and less on the clothing you choose. We will shoot 3-5 outfits in a session, but if you’re unsure which pieces to choose, bring as many as you want and we can help you choose the best options. You are going to look fabulous in any piece you choose!

Will my photos be on your website? Can my photos be private?

Your personal privacy is the most important thing to us. We will not display your photos unless you give us written permission to do so. The photos you see on our website have all been released by our clients for us to share. We love sharing our work for all women to be inspired by, but we will only do so if we are given permission from the client.

Where will my Boudoir session take place?

Boudoir sessions take place in our studio located less than 2 hours from Tucson, AZ. Our studio is in an accessible location to make it easy for all clients travelling near and far. Our hair and makeup team will meet you right at the studio, so you only need to go to one place for your entire experience. Our studio is a space that was designed just for boudoir photography. We have a variety of sets, backdrops, and lighting options to capture the unique looks you have in mind. We have some amazing sets that you will just love! In order to make sure you are comfortable during your visit, we assure you that our studio is a private space.

How long do boudoir sessions last? 

Boudoir sessions with our studio last approximately 60-90 minutes. While this is typical for most sessions, we do keep an open timeline since it’s best to shoot until we have what we need. We want every client to have time to get comfortable in the studio in order to capture the shots they are dreaming of.
